Training, testing, and practice … are all things we need to do daily! How do we decide what to spend our time with?
As an athlete, time is precious. There are only so many hours in the day, and there is a limit to how much we can train. It’s important to be efficient in how we spend our time and it’s important that we gain the most benefit from the time we spend.
One area that many don’t even think about is vision and how we use what we see to perform in our sport. Vision can make the difference between success and failure, vision can leverage the training you already do and can make it even more beneficial to your performance. It doesn’t take long to test and optimize the various visual abilities in your sport, and the benefits can be enormous.
Vision is not only simply what you see (that 20/20 number) but has many other components that play a role in your sports ability. In order to understand the different components, we devised a specific framework, or roadmap, to use as you explore and perfect your “vision”.
